Dr. Farkas is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School and the University of Michigan Business School. Before founding Wolf Bioscience, Dr. Farkas worked at the Cerner Corporation, a medical software company, where he was responsible for devising a corporate internet strategy, and at ArsDigita (a RedHat company), as a director of business development. He was also a special partner at Waypoint Ventures, a seed-stage venture capital fund. Dr. Farkas is a licensed general practitioner, and in his spare time does volunteer work as a physician/manager and as a visiting lecturer at the Florida Atlantic University College of Business. He is an active member of the American College of Physician Executives and the American Medical Association. |

Dr. Farkas is a graduate of Columbia University and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He has over 40 years of experience in optometry and is a founding partner of Farkas, Kassalow and Resnick, one of the largest specialty practices in the United States. A prolific author and practice management expert, Dr. Farkas was a contributing editor to Optometric Management and Optometric Economics. He has published almost 60 papers and articles over the course of his career and is a member of the Johnson & Johnson/Vistakon Speakers Bureau. Before signing on with Wolf Bioscience, Dr. Farkas was a Professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Farkas is also the founder of ODwire.org, the largest non-commercial optometric web site, with an active membership of approximately 6,000 optometrists and optometry students. |

Tavis Rudd is a systems administrator and software engineer with a diverse technical background. He has nine years of experience building and maintaining dynamic websites and has worked on a wide variety of projects. Prior to joining Wolf Bioscience, Tavis managed the IT operations of Calrudd Construction, one of British Columbia's leading residential contruction firms. He is the lead developer of Cheetah, an open source template engine and has also developed cost tracking and photo management systems for the construction industry, written an online university course on Geographic Information Systems, edited technical manuals, and taught courses in subjects ranging from statistical software to rock-climbing and back-country leadership skills. |
